Hilarious!

Right, before my blog stats plummet again, I gotta tell you guys about what happened today.

As usual, I got up at 6am and was out by 7 for my 8am lab (and this is the reason why I never seem to be fully awake on Wednesday mornings). Today was easy-peasy because it was just Western Blotting. That also meant that there were lots of waiting time in between the steps.

During one of these abysmally long waits… I decided to be cheeky. I took a thermometer and prodded the back of D’s neck with the cold glass bulb. At that time, E was standing right behind her. Regardless of whether was it a reflex action or whatsoever, D’s hand swung back instinctively and hit E… you got that right, SQUARE IN HIS DICK!

I’ll never forget that look on E’s face. It changed from being stunned silent, to the sudden, “OWWWW!!!! OWWW OWW OWWW!!” He ended up crouching on the ground clutching his jewels. I couldn’t help but burst out laughing there and then. When he finally recovered from his shock, he was swearing at me like never before but that only made me laugh even harder.  

D was totally embarrassed and kept apologising to E, asking if he was alright. She swore she didn’t feel a thing (which kinda insulted E) while E swore that she hit him square in the balls.

The thermometer became known as the “root of all evil” after that.
